The conversation between the suffering repentant sinner and the suffering Christ on the cross has been touching. It has been the source of solace for all suffering souls. Luke 23:42-43
And he (the sinner) said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."
Jesus replied, "Truly, you will be with me today in the paradise."
Amidst our sufferings, do not abandon our Lord but take courage to learn from Christ who has humbled Himself to take up the cross.
When we could share in His sufferings, we too, could say "Lord, remember me when You come into Your Kingdom."
Surely, the risen Lord would grant us the strength to bear our cross and remember us in His Kingdom. Do not be dismayed! One day, we will join Him in the Paradise!
